The 60 head yards curved design provides excellent stock flow and drafting options.
The 60 head yard features two main holding yards as well as a smaller forcing pen. The curved race encourages cattle to move around the race efficiently where they can proceed to the head bail, or be drafted to the side in order to load onto the truck using our simple spring loaded two-way race diverter.
Gates at the end of the race allow cattle to be drafted to either pen, or back to the paddock.
This yard comes standard with lower 1500mm high panels along the working side of the race for easier access to the animal. Talk to us if you would like full height 1.83m high panels along both sides of the race.
You can choose either the 6 or 7 rail panels and gates. Both are 1.83m high however the 7 rail panels and gates have an extra rail added to the lower section. This reduces the gap between the rails to prevent calves putting their heads through. Furthermore, sheep are able to be contained in the 7 rail yard.
Made using our high strength 2.1mm thick steel and hot dip galvanised after welding this yard will last for many years and holds its value extremely well for resale.
The yard can be expanded or reconfigured at any time by simply adding more components.
