50 Head Yard

The 50 head yard is a versatile design which can be easily altered for larger operations.

The 50 head yard features a large pen on either side of the straight race. A smaller forcing yard is located at the base of the race to ensure good stock flow.

Cattle can be treated using the Premium Head Bail and drafted back into the side pens or continue straight ahead to load onto the truck.  

All panels and gates in this yard are 1.83m high except for one 1500mm panel along the working side of the race for easier access to the animals. Talk to us if you would like this panel to be full height also. A catwalk can easily be added and any other alterations you require are simple with the modular system.

You can choose either the 6 or 7 rail panels and gates. Both are 1.83m high however the 7 rail panels and gates have an extra rail added to the lower section. This reduces the gap between the rails to prevent calves putting their heads through. Furthermore, sheep are able to be contained in the 7 rail yard.

Please note the pricing shown does not include the catwalk. Catwalk brackets can be added for $195+GST and you can place timber on top to form the walkway. Alternatively we can supply one length of fibreglass grating for $255+GST.

Made using our high strength 2.1mm thick steel and hot dip galvanised after welding this yard will last for many years and holds its value extremely well for resale.

The yard can be expanded or reconfigured at any time by simply adding more components.
